Friends, Venezuela has led the way with the Bolivarian Alliance for the Americas, known as ALBA. And we have now in Latin America some of the most popular heads of state in the world. We have a renaissance in Latin America taking place that is extremely exciting. Nations like Cuba, Bolivia, Ecuador. We were told about the coup in Honduras in 2009 presided over buy Hillary Clinton, leaving Honduras as the murder capitol of the world. We see once again an attempt to overthrow a very important country, and we tried once in 2002, and we recognize the new thugs who were put in as heads of state, and who were thrown out immediately by the people, and Chavez returned to the office he had won through an election, one of sixteen electoral victories he won during his career.
So, we want to take a look today at some of the work done by Michael Albert and ZCommunications in regard to the situation in Venezuela and why Venezuela is a nightmare for the capitalist world. Venezuela has spearheaded Latin America’s emergence from literally centuries of subordination to the U.S. regarding media, economic policies, culture, and international relations. That alone is a killable offense in the eyes of Washington. Indeed far less provokes American power to engage in mass murder, as in Iraq, one of many examples.
