Well, we know that two weeks ago I covered with you the concept of the Beloved Community. Last week we covered the basic principles of non-violence. In the past week, we’ve seen both the warfare model and the Beloved Community model. The warfare model is sniping murder from a distance. We denounce this practice wherever it is found. It is a failure internationally. We don’t want it in our cities or in anyone else’s city. People who are tired of racism may look to the warfare model. We think they are mistaken. They could come from the left, from the right, from the middle, from another planet. They are mistaken. We will never understand the assassin totally who killed the police in Dallas because we cannot communicate with the dead.
