Hello, this is Blase Bonpane with a comment.

Where do suicide bombers come from? Actually I think they can come from anywhere

on earth. It could be Dubuque, Iowa or Toledo, Ohio.

I don't think suicide bombers are created by geography or ethnicity. I think they are

created by oppression and humiliation. This is not a clash of civilizations, it is a desperate

response of traumatized people.

Why are there suicide bombers in Iraq? Because people are victims of the same abuse

which the Palestinians have suffered.

The Israeli Defense Forces have now been called to send urban warfare specialists to Ft.

Bragg in North Carolina at the same time that Israeli consultants are visiting Iraq.

As a result of this, U.S. forces are now using the same failed tactics that created suicide

bombers in the first place.

Areas of Iraq are being sealed off with razor wire. Buildings which house "suspected

insurgents" are being bulldozed and bombed.

These tactics create rage and rage creates suicide bombers. So we are not only supporting

the manufacture of suicide bombers but we are importing trainers into the United States

to expand a failed program and lead to the creation of even more suicide

bombers.

One of our former intelligence officers said recently, "This is basically an assassination

program. It is bonkers, insane. We're already being compared to Sharon in the

Arab world and we've just confirmed it by bringing in the Israelis and setting up

assassination teams."

One of the planners of this offensive is Lt. General William"Jerry" Boykin who is a

deputy undersecretary of Defense. Remember him? He says that Satan wants to destroy

our Christian Army, yes, he states that our military is fighting the devil.

He is about as correct in his judgment as the Grand Inquisitor.

As our tax money continues to flow into a factory for creating suicide bombers,

intelligent and humane people are beginning a great peace march in Israel and Palestine.

The marchers are assembling in Tel Aviv. They will visit the homes of bereaved Israeli

families, they will observe the separation wall, They will speak at length with the Israeli

citizens who will march with them into Palestinian cities. They will visit refuge camps

and demolished homes and they will prove definitively that dialogue and diplomacy are

possible.

This great venture, the International Human Rights March, takes place in Israel and

Palestine from December 20th to January 11th. It seems to me that this march has a much

greater potential for creating a peaceful future than two over funded military polities

which are currently mass producing suicide bombers.
